I am a freelance magazine journalist and editor based in Chicago. I previously worked as the associate editor for Modern Trader magazine and Futures Magazine where I covered and documented commercial trading trends to provide unique and compelling sources of institutional-quality research to a broader class of active investors across the globe.
I am also a journalism alumna of Columbia College Chicago. During my time at Columbia, I worked as copy editor and production manager for two of the college's award-winning publications, The Columbia Chronicle
I was born in Oahu, the "Heart of Hawaii" and home to the capital city of Honolulu. I have moved numerous times being privileged to live in places around the world. My father has retired from the U.S. Army after 25 years of service. Moving with the military has been a trigger of my desires to document. I have kept journals and upon doing so grown a love for storytelling, planning and preparing reader-centered content for publication.
